"ܒܫܢܬ ܫܬܡܐܐ ܘܬܡܢܬܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܟܣܢܕܪܘܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܡܐܩܕܘܢܝܐ. ܘܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܫܢܬ ܐܪܒܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܕܘܐܩܠܝܛܝܢܘܣ ܗܘܿ ܕܐܡܠܟ ܗܘܐ ܬܫܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܢ̣. ܟܕ ܒܗܘܦܛܝܐ ܕܝܠܗ ܕܬܡܢܐ: ܘܕܡܘܣܝܢܘܣ ܕܫܝܬ̣. ܒܐܣܛܪܛܝܓܘܬܐ ܕܐܒܐ ܘܕܐܒܓܪ ܒܪ ܙܥܘܪܐ..."1 "En l’an 618 du règne d’Alexandre roi de Macédoine, qui est l’an 14 du règne de Dioclétien qui règna pendant 19 ans, sous le huitième consulat du même Dioclétien et sixième consulat de Mysianus, Abbâ et Abgar fils de Z‘ôrâ étant stratèges…"1
