“ܫܠܡܐ ܫܡܥܬ ܒܪܝܟܬܐ ܡܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܘܩܒܠܬ ܒܛܢܐ. ܘܒܫܠܡܐ ܬܘܒ ܐܬܦܨܚܘ. ܐܦ ܬܠܡܝܕ̈ܐ ܒܓܘ ܥܠܝܬܐ. ܫܠܡܟ ܢܗܘܐ ܫܘܪܐ ܕܫܝܢܐ. ܠܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܘܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܒܓܘ ܟܪ̈ܟܝܗܘܢ. ܘܠܝܠܕ̈ܝܗܿ ܕܥܕܬܐ. ܢܛܪ ܒܨܠܝܒܟ. ܕܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܫܡܟ ܒܐܘܫܥ̈ܢܐ.” 1
“La bénie a entendu la salutation de l’ange et a reçu la conception. Par la salutation aussi les disciples sont devenus sereins à l’intérieur de la chambre haute. Que ta salutation soit un mur de paix pour les rois et les prêtres à l’intérieur de leurs places fortes; garde les fils de l’Église par ta croix pour qu’ils louent ton nom par des hosannas.” 1

“ܟܕ ܛܠܝܬܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܪܒܝܘܢܝ. ܟܗܢܝ̈ ܥܡܐ ܒܗܝܟܠ ܩܘܕܫܐ. ܘܗܫܐ ܕܗܘܝܬ ܥܠܝܡܬܐ. ܐܬܘ ܘܡܟܪܘܢܝ ܠܟܐܢܐ ܝܘܣܦ. ܓܒܪܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܐܬܐ ܣܒܪܢܝ. ܘܝܗܒ ܠܝ ܫܠܡܐ ܘܩܒܠܬ ܒܛܢܐ. ܘܐܙܠܬ ܘܝܠܕܬܗ. ܒܐܘܪܝܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ. ܘܚܕܝ ܒܡܘܠܕܗ ܠܒܪ̈ܝܬܐ ܟܠܗܝܢ.” 1
“Quand j’étais une gamine, les prêtres du peuple m’ont éduqué dans le temple saint; et maintenant que je suis devenue une jeune fille, ils sont venus et m’ont fiancée au juste Joseph. Un homme de feu est venu m’apporter un message, il m’a donné la paix et j’ai reçu la conception; je suis partie et je l’ai mis au monde dans une étable de Bethléem; et par son enfantement il a réjoui toutes les créatures.” 1
